From open hockey several days ago:
Dude on the bench: So how long have you been playing hockey?
Me: About 2 years.
Dude: Cool. So did you play in high school then?
Um. Wow. Either he wasn't paying attention to what I said, is a total dimwit, or was trying to get into my (goalie) pants. Because come on. There's no one mistaking me for a 19 year old.

Well, also look at the timing - college kids were still on winter break, while most people would have to go to work on Friday mornings, so its possible you could be two years out of high school.
Or maybe he thought you were held back a long long long long long long long long long time. ;)
